Evan loves to study, wants to travel and really wants to work in retail. He loves to smile, likes a chat and is very methodical about the tasks he undertakes.
Evan said, “I really want to work in retail at a large department store and be included but I am finding it hard to get an interview. People need to be inclusive and look at the person and their abilities, not their disabilities.”
Evan is currently working at Flagstaff Fine Foods in supported employment where he is using his skills in cleaning and assembling boxes. He encourages all organisations to look at hiring people with a disability.
